What is an NZB file and how do I use one?
An NZB file is a small file that tells your newsreader exactly which posts make up a download. Instead of searching through newsgroups yourself, you open the NZB file, and your newsreader fetches all the pieces from our servers.
How to use one
- Open the NZB file with your newsreader, or add it in your newsreader (for example SABnzbd, NZBGet or GrabIt).
- Your newsreader downloads all the parts from our servers.
- Most newsreaders then repair the download if needed (using PAR2 files) and unpack it (from RAR files) automatically.
NZB files come from NZB search sites, often called indexers. You can also search Usenet directly with GrabIt's built-in search, which is included with your plan.
