A newsreader is the program that connects to our servers and downloads posts for you. Here are some popular choices:

• GrabIt (Windows): included free with every Fast Usenet plan, with built-in Usenet search. Download it from the members area: open the Newsreaders menu and choose GrabIt.
• SABnzbd and NZBGet (Windows, Mac and Linux): free programs that download NZB files automatically, then repair and unpack them for you.
• Newsbin Pro and NewsLeecher (Windows): full-featured newsreaders for browsing and downloading.
• Pan (Linux): a free newsreader for browsing and downloading.
• Thunderbird (Windows and Mac): a good choice for reading and joining text discussions.

Step-by-step setup guides are on our tutorials page. In the members area, the Newsreaders menu also lists them under All Newsreaders.
